Current task
I work as a group manager in the Syke's Research infrastructure unit's Marine analytics group. I am in charge of the marine research laboratory and participate to its development. I am also responsible for the operation of the research vessel Aranda’s laboratory.
Background
I have a MSc degree and PhD degree in microbiology from the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Helsinki. I also studied marine biology. My dissertation topic was Virus-host systems in sea ice.
